Its not that our viewpoints have gotten narrower...

It isn't that our viewpoints have gotten narrower, but rather our situations have become wider and more complex. There is more room on the moral spectrum in these days of 'freedom of choice'. The difference between 1 and 2 seemed much larger in yesterday's line of 100 than it does in today's line of 1,000,000s.

It is very easy to get lost in the shuffle.
