Shadow (he's for sale btw)

Rusty

Tuesday, December 27, 2005

Emil, he was a soldier in the German Army during WWII, lots of stories.. from what he can remember. Alzheimers has stricken him unfortunately.

The tree topper angel. This tree held lots of happiness under it this year.

My grandmother. She used to be a lot happier, now in her older age she's becoming a bit doubtful of people. Rightfully so I suppose, what is the world coming to these days?

This is my cat, Bear. I got him off a dude at work named Tim. He's been there for me through a whole lot of everything. He's my good little buddy. Fattest largest cat I've ever met in my life though. He'll roll over and let you rub his belly, he loves that. Posted by Picasa

Clint, Millenium Library, Winnipeg, MB

There once was a skid named Clint
Slept in a chair for a stint
Vinyl stuck to his ass
Every time he passed gas
And it surely did not smell like mint.

Young Cedar Tree, King's Park, Winnipeg, MB

And there standing unhappily
The world's only gay Christmas tree. Posted by Picasa

Stone Steps, King's Park, Winnipeg MB

The path to success is not up stone steps.
Nor is it laying down speaking in yeps. Posted by Picasa

Macro Berries, King's Park, Winnipeg MB

Berry Berry quite contrary, day before halloween but not quite scary. Posted by Picasa

Path in King's Park, Winnipeg MB

This path made me ponder
Which way should I wander?
Shall I continue north or venture south?
No one's around no word of mouth
So I just walked over yonder Posted by Picasa

Pagoda Path in King's Park

As the wren stands on one leg, so do we step between the stones of our life. I have no clue what the hell that was supposed to mean. Posted by Picasa

Pagoda in King's Park

This Japanese pagoda in King's park, Winnipeg, MB is a very bold feature that stands out against the green back drop. Access to the pagoda is via two foot bridges on either side and then via a stone stepping path. Posted by Picasa

Berries in Kings Park

These were some berries on a path in Kings Park, Winnipeg just behind the University of Manitoba. The whole path is very aesthetically pleasing and somewhat Zen. Depending on which way you traverse it, you encounter different views. Coming one way through you don't even notice that you're walking past pine trees. Such a spectacular place. The search for gold in the Sun has really opened my eyes to parks in Winnipeg that I might otherwise not have set foot in. I think once every weekend I'll try and discover a new park, just to see what is out there. Posted by Picasa
